It is not for nothing that they say that we are what we eat. However, when we talk about food not only on our plate, it is very easy to realize that the food chain is a complex system of economic, political, technological and even environmental factors. And although its complexity can sometimes seem daunting or difficult to influence, research shows that with joint efforts, we can do a lot.
On July 18 at 10:00 AM, we invite you to participate in a remote webinar "Towards Sustainable Nutrition". The seminar will discuss good Lithuanian practices and the main challenges faced in implementing more sustainable and healthier food systems. We will also present the report "Food for Thought. Ideas for Sustainable Food Policy of the Baltic States" prepared by the Lithuanian Foundation for Nature together with partners from Sweden, Poland and Denmark.
We believe that these initiatives can become good examples of how, through small but real steps, healthier nutrition becomes accessible to the public.
We invite everyone interested in the topic of food to join us. Link to the event here .
