Climate champions in business

1. Create a system for identifying and promoting climate change mitigation leaders in business and, based on this evaluation scheme, award the most successful companies and promote these “climate champions”. 2. Identify and describe good initiatives and good examples of climate change mitigation in business (agriculture, industry and transport). 3. Create an evaluation scheme for the commitment of Lithuanian business enterprises to mitigate climate change. 4. Announce a call for nominations to identify climate change leaders. 5. Establish a commission of assessors and conduct an evaluation of business enterprises. 6. Award business leaders in three sectors that have achieved exceptional results in reducing the impact of their activities on the climate. 7. Based on the examples and experience of the nominated companies, prepare a description of these good examples and recommendations for legislation.
