LIFE Osmo Baltic

The project, "Baltic Wide Web for Osmoderma eremita: The Creation of an Ecological Network in the Baltic Region",  was launched this year by the Lithuanian Fund for Nature (LFN), a public nature conservation organization, and its partners in Latvia and Lithuania. Funded by the European Union, as well as Lithuanian and Latvian institutions, the LIFE Osmo Baltic project is dedicated to researching and protecting the habitats of the hermit beetle (Osmoderma barnabita), which are old deciduous trees. The project duration is 6.5 years, covering the period from January 1, 2024, to June 30, 2030.
